I have eaten here a couple of times and both times the food was absolutely phenomenal. You can actually see the look of satisfaction on people’s faces as they take their first bite. I arrived at about noon and there were plenty of tables available. Apparently at night you will most likely need a reservation. They have a bunch of great lunch specials. I ordered the mussels (giant bowl) and fries and glad I did. The sauce they mussels were in is so good I brought it home to dip bread in. Which reminds me, the french bread was fantastic. The hand cut fries were thin but tasted like Thrashers. Definitely a great lunch for $12. I won’t say anything about the waitress except I absolutely love her.
One of the owners greets you and the other cooks. Jean-Louis even stopped what he was doing to come out to shake my hand.
This is a place you definitely need to try if you have never been. The dinners are fine dining prices but that is exactly what you get.
