I am not a fan of donuts and probably had not had one in over 10 years but was asked to check out D shack. The awesome thing was it was exactly the same as it was last time I was there. I even think some of the same people were there reading the sports section of the Sun. This is a very comfortable feeling and one of the things I miss about the old days. Before the hustle and bussle of non stop traffic and over population there were few businesses that made Severna Park. I remember Donut Shack as one of these. I believe it opened in the early 80′s and if I’m not mistaken had one makeover in the 90′s and has remained exactly the same since. It makes you forget about all of the corporate stores and remember the small town you once moved into and enjoyed. ( I used to call SP Mayberry)
I had a glazed donut and a coffee. The donut was fresh so I’m thinking good to most. I am not a fan of sweets so a breakfast sandwich would have suit me but they do not sell them. Coffee was good.
Staff: Very good
Environment: A step into the past. Love it
Food: Others must comment. Even thought you are not called sandwich and donut shack if you serve breakfast sammiches you got me at least once a week
